1. Selling the website or its services
You expressly accept and agree that if the company sells the website or its services or its business (or any part thereof) or if there is a change in the ownership of the Company, then the company may disclose, allocate or transfer personal data, personal data of a special nature and any other information. We are also bound by the GDPR (General European Data Protection System) and if there is any article in these terms does not comply with these two laws, then these two laws will be the applicable laws.
(A) We do not provide any undertakings or warranties that the materials or information provided by clients or translators are reliable, accurate, or complete, or that your access to the service or website will be uninterrupted, meet the schedule, or completely safe. We are not responsible for any loss arising from any action taken by you or your reliance on any of the information or materials provided by translators or clients. You must inquire and ask and ensure the correctness of the information before acting or relying on any information or materials appearing on the website. You acknowledge that any communication between you as a client and the translator and the consequences thereof is your own responsibility.
(B) We do not guarantee that the Service or the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is distributed "as is". There may be delays, errors and interruptions in the availability of the service or website. When permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge that the service (and the availability of the website) is provided without any guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties that ensure the validity of the offer in the market or its compatibility with any specific use.
(C) We are not responsible for any loss or damage, whatever the reason (including loss resulting from negligence), which you may suffer directly or indirectly in connection with your use of the service, the website or any linked websites as well. We do not accept any liability for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the service or website or that you accessed through the service or website. To avoid any confusion and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing:
(D) The company is not responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, temporary, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related in any way to your use of the service or the website or any delay or inability to use the service or website. Or any information, products or other services obtained through the service or the website or that arise from using the website in any other way, whether under contract, negligence, other harm, strict liability or otherwise, even if the company is informed about the possibility of such damage;
(E) The company has no responsibility or liability for any information or materials that you send as a client to the translator or as a translator for the client via the website.
(F) The company does not take any responsibility or liability for the behavior of any member or other users of the service, including, but not limited to, any behavior that causes bodily injury to any person.
3. Risks
You, as a customer, acknowledge that there are risks related to the delay in sending the translated file, not sending it at all, or not responding to the call by the translator, and it is your responsibility to search for another translator and agree with him, and it is your responsibility to bear the risk of leakage of conversations by the translator, and we will work on taking all measures that limit this behavior which might be deleting the translator from the site. Also there might be risks in dealing with underage persons or persons acting under a false identity or for criminal purposes. You agree to take all necessary precautions when communicating with other users.
4 Termination
4.1 The Agreement is effective for Members
This Agreement will remain in full force and effect while you are a member of the Service or while using the website.
4.2. Termination of membership from your side
(A) You may terminate your membership at any time for any reason, and this shall take effect upon our receipt of your written notice of termination. The notice of termination can be sent to the address provided in the “Contact Us” section of the website, and it can also be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the “Contact Us” section of the website.
(B) In the event that you die before the end of your subscription period, your heirs are entitled to a refund of a portion of any payments you made as points on the site after submitting an official death certificate. In the event that you become severely disabled (and are unable to use the website) before the points on the site expire, you have the right to recover a part of any payments you made by sending a notification to the company that includes a report stating so from an official authority.
(C) Terminating your access to the service: We may, in our absolute discretion, prevent, terminate or suspend your access to the service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, in the event of any fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity or what may affect in another way, for others to enjoy the service.
(D) Termination of membership on our side: We may terminate your membership and your access to the service immediately at any time if we decide (in our absolute discretion) that you have breached this agreement. A notice of termination will be sent to the last email address you provided us. Any cash mobilized as prepaid points related to the period following termination will be refunded after deducting any costs or losses incurred by the company in connection with your membership.
4.3. Confidentiality of information:
(c) You agree that any materials or information you provide, including personal information (which might include your full name, email address, phone number, etc.) will be dealt as not confidential information and we will be allowed to use these materials or information for the extend related to your personal information only in compliance with our privacy policy and any applicable laws.
4.4. Information available to the public:
A. The information you provide will be displayed to the public and this includes your personal picture and the information you write by yourself to be seen by the client which includes the years of experience and field of expertise and maybe field of study and place of residence. And by this you acknowledge that public users will be able to view your profile.
B. The Company uses servers all over the world to record your personal information and these servers might exist in a country other than your country of residence.
C. The Company might employ many employees from all over the world to perform investigation and verification for the criminal record of individuals and these employees might exist in a country other than your country of residence.
D. For the purpose of providing good customer support, performing back office tasks and performing tasks of fraud prevention as well as providing services for you, we might need to allow our employees or suppliers (who might be existing or their resources might be existing outside your country of residence) to access your personal information which you recorded in the website by yourself.
E. You explicitly agree on transferring and storing your personal information to our members and employees and third parties as stated in articles 4.4 (A) to 4.4 (D) from terms of usage and our privacy policy as these members, employees and third parties might be existing in countries other than your country of residence. And we shall acknowledge and manage the risks that might be connected to the transfer and storage of this information especially when these countries don’t have the same level of protection that exist in your country of residence. ParrotTrans Company will take the role of facilitating all these transfer processes according to our privacy policy. You have the right to withdraw your consent or oppose our use for your personal information at any time pursuant to the terms stated in our privacy policy.
5. Deactivating the account for non-use
We may deactivate your account, whether you are a customer or a translator, if you have not used the service for a full year in a row, unless you have points on the site that have not been used.
This clause only applies to you if you are defined as a "consumer" as defined in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellations and Additional Fees) Regulations 2013 (the "Regulations") and you are an EU resident and have not started using the Service yet. In the event that regulations apply to these terms of use, you may terminate your membership within fourteen (14) days of registering as a member of the service by providing a written notice to the company, provided that you do not have to pay a translator.
14. Definitions
Within these terms of use, the following expressions have the following meanings corresponding to them:
“Claim” means, in relation to a person, any claim, claim, compensation, lawsuit, injury, damage, loss, cost, liability, judicial proceeding, right of association or claim for compensation or payment or an obligation incurred by the person or recovered or recovered by him. “Paid Services” means the facilities and services available to site members who pay a fee or charge credit as points to be used for payment.
“Privacy Statement” means the Company’s privacy policy which is available on the website.
“Service” means the facilities available to members through the website.
“Website” means the website owned and operated by the company.
"Terms of Use" means these terms of use as amended from time to time by the company, and which constitute the agreement between you and the company.

Controller means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or any other body that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data; Where the purposes and means of such processing are determined under Union or Member State law, the observer or criteria specified for his candidacy may be provided under Union or Member State law.
Processor means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
Recipient means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to which personal data is disclosed, whether it is a third party or not. However, public authorities who may receive personal data within the framework of a particular investigation in accordance with Union or Member State law may not be considered recipients; the processing of this data by those public authorities shall be in accordance with the applicable data protection rules in accordance with the purposes of the processing
